About | Renee Kamaretsos
Having lived in France and Greece for several years and travelled extensively throughout Europe, I acquired inspiration from my ever changing surroundings to create beautiful contemporary art. Now back home in Australia, I have formalised my studies by completing a four year Advanced Diploma in Fine Arts.
I have a great energy and enthusiasm for painting in a variety of different genres and mediums. The freedom of watercolour, the unlimited expanse in landscape are all fundamental elements in the creation of my desirable artworks. Looking to the natural beauty of my surrounding worlds, I like to capture the mood, harmony and rich palette of colours that effortlessly present themselves.
I have exhibited and hung at Wollongong City Gallery, Micheal Reid Gallery- Northern Beaches & Southern Highlands, Project Gallery, Gallery Alchemy-Milton, Art Arena Gallery, Shellharbour Village Exhibition Space, Thirroul Sea Side Festival, Corn Mill Fine Arts Gallery, Matthew Gillett Gallery, Fern Street Gallery-Gerringong, Clifton School of Arts and Scarborough Art Fair.
My art has been selected and hung in local restaurants, businesses and private homes throughout Australia, New Zealand, France, Greece, Dubai and the UK.
I was also a finalist in the 2018 Fishers Ghost Art Awards, 2024 Gallery Alchemy Perfect Pallet, 2023 ACB Select Michael Reid Galleries.
Renee was also selected to exhibit at "The Other Art Fair" 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024
Barangaroo Sydney.
